The month of November became the month of Movember in the KJP office.
For anyone not familiar with Movember it simply involves men growing moustaches for the whole of November. The chaps in the office decided to take on the challenge, all in the name of charity of course, and the ‘mo’ growing commenced.
The team comprised of Phil Weldon, Nick Brown, Adam Simpson and Mike Lloyd. After a hairy start (apologies!) the team quickly got into the spirit of things and some interesting styles began to emerge. In fact the blossoming facial hair on show was so impressive that Keith Jones decided he wanted a piece of action and joined the team.
The most popular style seemed to be ‘80’s American police detective’ although Nick Brown instead opted for the ‘terrifying army sergeant’ look. Nick’s look seemed to do the trick though as he was the runaway leader when it came to receiving charitable donations. The team raised £2,605 with Nick raising £2,395 of the total all by himself.
However, as everyone had to keep reminding Nick, it was a team effort and there was no personal glory to be gained…..this didn’t stop him gloating.

On Movember 1st, guys register at Movember.com with a clean-shaven face and then for the rest of the month, these selfless and generous men groom, trim and wax their way into the annals of fine moustachery. Funds are raised by seeking out sponsorship for their Mo-growing efforts.
